The Apparatus seeks to
help explore and document
the phototropic response
of a young plant in
controlled conditions. A
pot rests on a mechanism
that rotates with the help
of a servo motor, while
the light source remains
stable.The plant responds
to this circular movement
and coils along through the process of phototropism.

Moisture, temperature and luminosity sensors constantly collect data while an accelerometer on the plant gives back the shifting coordinates.

the plant grows around the 3D printed guide and follows a trajectory through this aided process of growth, in order to produce the desired fibres.
